Things are starting to feel real!

It was so hard to fall asleep last night! I couldn't stop thinking about how close the wedding is and I am just so excited for my shower this weekend. It is feeling more real by the day and I just can't stop smiling!! My shower is this weekend which is leaving me even more excited!

On another note, this weekend I went to Carmen from Studio By Carmen's studio for a boudoir pic session. I had the most deliciousss cupcakes from Sugar Girl Bakeshop. We had the Havana Nights which were delicious cupcakes with Guava in the middle and a yummy cream cheese frosting! I highly recommend them for anyone who is in need of a tasty treat for an upcoming event. I plan on ordering some for my bridesmaid's and I on the day of to enjoy while getting ready!

I have been so busy with last minute details (only 2 months to go!) but I just wanted to check in. I will be sure to post pictures of my shower as soon as I have some. Carmen will be photographing it so I am oh so excited!

First Fitting

The moment I have been waiting for is here! I was finally able to meet with "her" again & I am in LOVE! I also took my undergarments with me to try on the gown as well as my shoes and couldnt be happier.

After a long and hard search on what to wear for my day I decided on this bustier. Its by Jezebel which is sold at Macys. If anyone is looking for something like this, I highly recommend this bustier. It is super soft and has great support and fits true to size.

These are the shoes I finally decided on. I originally wanted a pair of Stuart Weitzmans but they were dyeable which I found was a big pain to get done. Luckily for me I found these Caparros for onloy 19.99 with free shipping on ebay!! They fit great and gotta love the bling ;)
And finally, here I am in my gown!! I cant wait to go for final fitting in October so I can take her home with me!! Only 80 more days!!

Getting things done never felt so good!!

I spent all day at the mall yesterday with my Future Sister in law in her side of town (Boca) and found the perfect dress for the shower. I am so excited to wear it!! It is Romeo & Juliet Couture and the material is to die for. Now all I need to do is find the perfect shoes :)

I also got my earrings for the big day. They are chandelier and pearl and I think they will look lovely with my gown.

My gown is here so I want to go for the fitting by next week. Gotta find my shoes asap!!

-Half a decade & loving it!

Yesterday was our five year anniversary or like one of my dear friends and bridesmaid called it "half a decade". We have never been to a Churrascaria before & I have been on the Atkins for about a week now so we both thought it would be a perfect choice. Everyone has raved about it, and let me just say.. they weren't lieing!! It was awesome!! They had impeccable service & the meats were super juicy and very tender. They serve unlimited amounts of mashed potatoes and these delicious fried sweet plantains. The salad bar is taken to a whole new level with everything from sushi to macaroni salad. They were also serving lobster bisque & beautiful seasoned potatoes (which I didn't touch, thank you very much!).

After dinner we went to watch The House Bunny and laughed so hard! It was a great movie & really entertaining. We ended the night snuggling in bed until 2 am. I wouldn't have had it any other way!! Here is to half a decade & many more to come!

One Month til My Shower!

I am so excited! My shower is right around the corner & I am thinking of wearing a maxi dress since it will be in the early afternoon at a casual restaurant nearby. I just LOVE this trend and think it would be perfect with our fun cupcake theme.

Hopefully I find the one very very soon! I'll be sure to post it here as soon as I do.
